Willow's Weekly - Week 15 - A resort, at last!

Tim Chin finally got his dearest wish. He was able to scrounge together enough money to have a resort built on one of the many beaches.

It's held together mostly by ropes and rusty nails, but Tim swears he'll be able to improve it in no time.

The resort seems to be modeled after a similar run-down resort in Isla Paradiso. And the tourists seem to like it - but that could be because there's no base camp or any other resort for them to stay at

So in spite of the shabby exterior, the new venue is already bringing in tourists. It looks like Tim's plans are finally falling into place.
Meanwhile, Hina has gone back to work, which annoys her father very much - but there's not much he can do about it.

AA few days after the royal birth Salote Tau gave birth to a son, Laione. He's definitely Topou's child. Topou and Salote still aren't married. And Salesi Puriri, Salote's older brother, has continued to push to get custody of his niece, Maise Tau.

A private investigator (no, not the local one!) found out that Topou actually has quite the criminal record - not on Niua Simoa, but on various other islands he lived on before settling down here.
The family court judges took all of this into consideration - and Salesi got his wish: Maise now lives with him and his family.

He added a room to his fale just so she could have her own space.

Salote is taking up her old profession (the oldest profession in the world,if you know what I mean), with both Henry I and Henry II as her principal clients.

At least Maise is away from all that. And even though her aunt Arama was never crazy about the idea of having to raise her sister-in-law's child, she actually seems to enjoy having a girl around the house. (It does help that Maise isn't at all like her mother!)

Salesi, of course, is now back in court trying to get his hands on Laione. I wouldn't be surprised if Salote gives in this time. She seems even less interested in this baby than she ever was in Maise... (The whole custody battle was never about Maise - it was about Salote defying her brother...)

Feleti Palefau graduated last week. Tane really wanted him to work for his company, which Moorea is busy running into the ground, but Feleti prefers to become a scientist, and he now works for his brother Hakopi at his experimental farm.

Tane isn't happy with Feleti. And once he finds out that the local gossips have seen him in compromising circumstances with Robert-Michel Gao, of all Sims, he will probably be even less pleased.

Maybe it's time for Feleti to find his own place...

And on a personal note: I'm not really feeling well, so that's all the gossip I've been able to gather...
