Manase Karakia aged up to toddler.
He looks just like his father.

The Wahawaha family have decorated their new house.
And Haki gets involved in the local pasttime.

On Monday, Redmond Tagaloa aged up to adult. It didn't make much difference in his looks.
That same day, Ethel Pataua aged up to adult as well.
She aged up with different hair and the same dress - I decided to give her back the same hair but change her dress.
I'm not sure about the yellow apron, I think I'll change it to something a little less bright.

On Wednesday, Ethel (who is a paramedic) was asked to perform a vaccination clinic. So after breakfast, she headed to the park.
She didn't expect to find a lot of patients, but it was actually pretty busy.
Although not everybody was happy about it... Not even Dr. Daniel himself!
All in all it did go well, though. A few people were late, unfortunately. The game is relentless - they just get dropped from the queue and there's nothing poor Ethel could do about it.

Ethel's lifetime wish is to achieve "physical perfection".
So on the next Monday she spent some time jogging between the hospital and the vaccination clinic at the cemetary - she did wonder who was responsible for picking the location - the cemetary is uphill all the way.
No wonder only four people showed up - and Ethel only vaccinated three of them, since Shalynda Tagaloa didn't bother waiting for her. But at least she'd enjoyed the jog.
After work she went to the dojo to work on her martial arts skill. Tane Palefau was there, too, and Ethel decided to train him:
After Tane had worked up a sweat and went down to take a shower, Ethel changed into her Sim Fu outfit and started kicking the dummy.
Much to her surprise, Tane came back up, also wearing a Sim Fu outfit. She didn't think it was a good idea for a man of his age to do a Sim Fu workout when he just got off the treadmill, but one doesn't question a man like Tane (especially not if one is a 'mere' woman...)
However, within five minutes Tane let out a scream and almost fell to the ground, clutching his stomach.
Ethel immediately rushed to his side. Fortunately she had come straight from work, so she had her medical supplies with her.
It turned out to be less serious than it looked. Ethel had just the right pills with her, but she did urge Tane to check in with Dr. Tumeke in the morning. (Tane would have done that anyway - he's the kind of guy who prefers a male doctor!)
Ethel's hard work this week did pay off, though. She was promoted to medical intern on Thursday. She'll have to work even harder now, though - keeping up with medical journals can be very time-consuming!
On Friday Ethel attended a party at Crystal Ling's house. It was a formal party, but apparently the host had forgotten - he was wearing his tatty work shirt.
The party itself was pretty boring. Everybody seemed to gather upstairs to listen to Robert Stevenson play the guitar.
Ethel did get to chat to Chrystal and get to know her a bit better. It's good to know other working mothers. Especially on this backward island.
Meanwhile Big Joe has been working out so much that he's lost quite a lot of weight.
Let's just hope this determination lasts. He did get promoted from rookie to starter - now all he has to remember is to actually show up on time for a game! (He managed to miss the last three!)
Almost everyone in the Pataua family is sports-mad. Jonas wants to be a sports hero, and both Violet and Ricky have the athletic trait.
Violet is already very good at gnubb.
Jeanie doesn't appear to be into sports much, but then she's a baby, so things may change...
The real odd one out is Sylvia. She's artistic (while Ethel hates art and Joe is mostly indifferent to it) and a bookworm - the only person in the family who actually reads for fun. She did inherit her father's 'natural cook' trait. Unfortunately she also inherited his tendency to gain too much weight - and since she's not athletic, it's not likely she'll work it off.
The others tend to tease her (which probably explains why she's a bit childish and still holds on to her old teddybear).
She didn't tell her family about her painting classes, fearing they would laugh at her. However, she did manage to sell a few of her paintings to some tourists.
Encouraged by her teacher, Tim Chin, she used the money she got for her paintings to take writing classes, and she started her first novel.
Mr Chin sent a few pages to a publisher for her, and much to her surprise they wanted to see the entire manuscript as soon as possible.
Now Sylvia dreams of becoming an illustrious author. Her first novel is a science fiction story called "The Quantum Quotation". She finished it on Friday and immediately sent it in.
It won't pay much royalties, but if this one sells well, the publisher might ask for more... And Sylvia can't wait to see her family's faces when she shows them her complimentary copy!
